Ayrton pomeroy

Born and raised in the rural Ontario town of Shelburne, just an hour northwest of Toronto; Ayrton Pomeroy is a small-town kid with big-time ambitions. His passion for two wheels runs deep, passed down from his father and grandfather, and has fueled his journey from a wide-eyed five-year-old racing at Gopher Dunes to standing atop the podium in the 250 Pro class at the Riviere du Loup AX this past May.

Ayrton’s racing style is defined by smooth technique and sharp race craft. He’s a true student of the sport, with a deep understanding of motocross that often gives him an edge when conditions are at their toughest. On the bike, Ayrton’s outgoing personality shines, he’s a familiar face in the paddock, always ready to lend a hand to younger riders and soak in the atmosphere of race day.

His path hasn’t been without setbacks. Over the past three seasons, Ayrton has battled through several injuries. But with grit and determination, he’s turned adversity into growth, returning stronger, smarter, and more focusedeach time.

Beyond motocross, Ayrton is a multi-sport athlete. He plays hockey and golf regularly, and during the off-season, he competes with the Innisfil Spartans JR C Hockey Club. The discipline and intensity of hockey keep him in peak physical condition and feed his competitive spirit.
